In 1992, I left the formal setting of medicine.
I temporarily ran a private practice, and then in 1996 – at the time I thought that it would be for good – I stopped all health-related activities.

I had a thriving business, and I didn’t think I would ever return to the field of healthcare in any form.

However…
Around 2000, I came across a book that turned my life upside down.
